Cutlink Cleaning Head with a Spreading Feature for Biological Sprout Control
نویسندگان
چکیده
The ability of deciduous trees to sprout efficiently after cutting is problematic in young forests where the target cultivate coniferous for industry. Since use chemicals has been restricted, new alternatives are needed. One potential and environmentally friendly option biological control that based on a white-rot fungus, Chondrostereum purpureum (Pers. Ex Fr.) Pouzar. This method efficient earlier investigations when performed manually, but efficient, fully mechanized devices which able cut treat stumps with fungus still unavailable. Therefore, efficacy conducted Cutlink cleaning head equipped spreading feature was studied two Norway spruce (Picea abies (L.) H. Karst.) central Finland.Sample plots (cutting saplings only) fungal treatment inoculum fresh stump surfaces) were established, preventing sprouting silver downy birch (Betula pendula Roth B. pubescens Ehrh., respectively) sample investigated years. In near vicinity cultivated spruce, proportion varied from 50–60% operation. average mortality ca. 40%, while control, i.e., only, only 13%, years. Stump increased up 73% if did not include old branches, low enough height. These results confirmed tool stand management operation further development will be needed working methods order achieve lower heights (no branches stump) also increase saplings.

Cleaning for Web Mining through Feature Weighting
Unlike conventional data or text, Web pages typically contain a large amount of information that is not part of the main contents of the pages, e.g., banner ads, navigation bars, and copyright notices. Such irrelevant information (which we call Web page noise) in Web pages can seriously harm Web mining, e.g., clustering and classification. In this paper, we propose a novel feature weighting tec...
متن کاملBiological data cleaning: a case study
As databases become more pervasive through the biological sciences, various data quality concerns are emerging. Biological databases tend to develop data quality issues regarding data legacy, data uniformity and data duplication. Due to the nature of this data, each of these problems is non-trivial and can cause many problems for the database. For biological data to be corrected and standardise...
متن کاملBiological Effect of Audible Sound Control on Mung Bean (Vigna radiate) Sprout
Audible sound (20-20000 Hz) widely exists in natural world. However, the interaction between audible sound and the growth of plants is usually neglected in biophysics research. Not much effort has been put forth in studying the relation of plant and audible sound. In this work, the effect of audible sound on germination and growth of mung bean (Vigna radiate) was studied under laboratory condit...
